Cancellation & Postponement Policy – Brisbang Party Hire

At Brisbang Party Hire, we understand that sometimes plans change. We’ll always do our best to be flexible and fair while also covering the costs and preparation that go into each booking.

1. Cancellations Due to Weather

Safety comes first — always.
If weather conditions are unsafe (strong winds, heavy rain, storms, or lightning), we may need to postpone or cancel the hire.

  • If Brisbang Party Hire cancels due to unsafe weather, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to another available date.

  • If you choose to cancel due to the forecast but conditions remain safe, our normal cancellation terms below will apply.

We will always contact you ahead of delivery if weather conditions become a concern.

2. Standard Cancellations (Non-Weather Related)

  • More than 7 days before your event:
    Your deposit can be transferred to a future booking date (within 6 months), or refunded minus a small admin fee ($25).

  • Between 3 and 7 days before your event:
    Your deposit becomes non-refundable but can be used as a credit for another date.

  • Within 48 hours of your event:
    Unfortunately, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, as we’ve already prepared and reserved your equipment.

3. Postponements

We’re happy to work with you if you need to change your booking date.

  • You can postpone your hire up to 48 hours before the event without any fee, subject to availability of your new preferred date.

  • Postponements within 24 hours of delivery will be treated as a late cancellation unless weather-related.

4. Refunds

If a refund applies, it will be processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method.

5. No-Show Policy

If our team arrives for delivery and no one is present to receive or provide access to the setup area, it will be treated as a same-day cancellation, and no refund will be issued.

We’re a small local business, and every booking means a lot to us. We’ll always handle cancellations and postponements in good faith and with understanding — our goal is to keep your party stress-free and fun!
